চাঁদ তুমি কি, পেয়েছিল নবীর মুখের আলো, তাইতো তোমার আলো আমার লাগে এতো ভালো

লাগে এতো ভালো (২)

ও চাঁদ তোমার মুখটি দেখে, সে মুখ মনে পরে,, তোমার আলোর আড়ালে তার আলোই যেন জ্বলে,,, (২)

সেই আলো চাই আমার বুকে, মনে যে জাগ জ্বালো,আল্লাহ,,মনে সে জাগ জ্বালো, (২)ঐ

ও চাঁদ তোমার বসত বাড়ি, যে আকাশের বুকে, সে আকাশ ও নীল হয়েছে, তর বিরহের দুখে (২)

তার বিরহে, অগ্নি দহন, আমার মনে ঢালো,

আল্লাহ, আমার মনে ঢালো (২) 

চাঁদ তুমি কি, পেয়েছিল নবীর মুখের আলো, তাইতো তোমার আলো আমার লাগে এতো ভালো, লাগে এতো ভালো (২)

 And the moon is your home, the sky is blue, the sky is blue,
